[RP] Conflicting Ideals
When all had been made to choose, the master began his work.

Many wondered if it was God who created them that way, an almighty being that blessed these special individuals--or cursed them. Some would say that science was at the root, a malfunctioned experiment, a mutated gene. Some say it was history, a being formed from the beginning of time, hiding amidst the flocks of people amidst the years.

Some called them vampires--lurking in the night apart from prying eyes. Some called them heretics--those who practiced witchcraft. Some called them monsters--surreal beings who did nothing but harm man. And some called them freaks--different and feared.

But amidst all who feared them, they hid. They hid behind colorful costumes, bright lights and stardom. They were loved by all.

Too loved, in fact. And there was one man that was the epitome of this love.

How he knew about their powers remains a mystery. Why he wants them to himself remains hidden as he is. He longed for their powers, he longed to use them for his own selfish desires. For years he watched them, studied them and their powers. He kept his research in a computer, a server hidden in the depths of Tokyo.

The day had finally come when his research came to an end. He needed his specimens to further his studies, and he had formulated a plan to get them. It was in a form of a virus, one that he would send to all those he needed.

it was one word in one email. And as the old master hit enter to send out his mail, his plan had begun.

I'm coming to get you. -God.

He'd just gotten back from a long day of practice. It had been a habit of his to sit himself down by his computer as he waited for the rest of the band to finish with the bathroom. After all, a leader had to serve; and it was Yunho's way of serving to call last in their full bath order.

He sat there that night and watched his computer boot. It was the same every night--the black screen with white letters quickly running form one end of the screen to the other. So he idly waited for the drives to boot.

I'm coming to get you. -God.

It blinked once and disappeared. Yunho blinked in turn. Was he seeing things? He shook it out of his thoughts.

What the hell? he thought.

After a few seconds his wallpaper flashed onto his screen, followed by the small icons that made up his desktop. He was looking at his background, an old picture of Jaejoong and himself, when a small dialog box appeared before him.

I'm coming to get you. - God.

Now he was sure he wasn't seeing things. But he paid no attention to it still. He clicked the bright orange "X" at the top of the window and closed it.

He moved his cursor over the Firefox icon, double clicking on the blue and orange icon. And there it was again.

I'm coming to get you. -God.

And the screen went black. It just conked out again, he told himself again. But just as he reassured himself of just that, the white letters began running across his screen again. But they weren't his drivers starting up this time.

"What the hell?"

Then everything began to rumble. Something was coming. And it was coming fast.

Yunho got up and ran to the door. He needed to alert his members; he needed to get to Jaejoong. But he was too late. He opened the door and there were seven men in black standing in their hallway, each of them equipped with what seemed to be a katana. "Shit." And in a split second, he was gone and headed for his boyfriend's room.

"Jaejoong, prepare yourself." He wasn't going to back down and run.

He waited as the footsteps grew louder by the minute. He could only pray that the other members were prepared and aware.

Malice. Hate. Fear. Junsu's eyes flashed open as the water streamed over them. The emotions swamped him and were so powerful he could have easily been choked by them. He slammed down the walls of that door that he kept open inside himself while he was home. The door that kept out little feelers, and kept him in touch with his bandmates. They weren't enough to invade their privacy, but they were enough to make sure that everyone was relatively happy and healthy.

Right now, nothing was right and he didn't need to invade their privacy to know it. The hate in the air was palitable and soon so was the sense of urgency he felt. He sent himself outside his physical body while it ran though the motions of trying to get dressed with soap in his hair and water clinging to his body.

There were men in his house and Yunho was shouting. His astral self threw up barriers. He couldn't split himself completely because he needed to keep tabs on his physical body. It still need to funtion. So, the barriers would only keep the men at bay for a short while. But hopefully it would be long enough.

"Hurry, get everyone and get moving." He shouted as his astral body flickered and wavered.

The door bust open and almost immediately, Yunho, with all his mental strength, held them three men in place. Three. The other four must have been after the rest of the group. He couldn't let that happen. And yet what could he do with all his strength and focus set on the three he now held still in space.

"Jae..." he managed to mumble without breaking his concentration, "Jaejoong, go help the others..."

Yunho wasn't confident about his fighting skills, not with opponents who held weapons that would slice him in half with one fluid swing. He wondered how long he would last like he was, or if he would still have the energy to stand after the stunt he was pulling with his powers. But he knew he couldn't let his band mates down.

Oh we can so do this, Yunho. Okay, so maybe he was a little too confident with himself. Too confident indeed.
